Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with Lab Freezer Co.
We take pride in providing high-quality laboratory and ultra-low temperature refrigeration equipment. Because these are specialized commercial products, our return and refund policies are designed to protect both our customers and the integrity of our cold-chain equipment.


1. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in the original packaging.

  • Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.

  • A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be issued before the item is shipped back.

  • Custom-built, special-order, or clearance units are non-returnable.

Note: Once a freezer has been plugged in or used for storage, it cannot be returned due to contamination and calibration integrity requirements.


2. How to Request a Return

To start a return, contact us at support@labfreezerco.com with the following details:

  • Order number

  • Model and serial number

  • Reason for return

  • Photos of the product and packaging (if applicable)

Once your request is reviewed, we’ll provide RMA instructions and the return shipping address.


3. Restocking Fees

Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee to cover inspection, repackaging, and administrative costs.
If the product shows signs of installation, use, or damage, additional deductions may apply.


4. Shipping Costs

  • Outbound shipping charges are non-refundable, even if free shipping was offered at purchase.

  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to a verified defect or shipping error.

  • If freight damage occurs, it must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and packaging.


5. Refunds

After we receive and inspect your return:

  • We’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

  • Shipping and handling fees are not refunded.


6. Damaged or Defective Products

If your unit arrives damaged or defective:

  1. Do not sign for delivery if the shipment is visibly damaged.

  2. Note the damage on the bill of lading and take photos immediately.

  3. Contact support@labfreezerco.com within 48 hours for a replacement or claim assistance.


7. Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Custom-built or modified equipment

  • Temperature-sensitive or perishable products

  • Clearance or “as-is” items

  • Replacement parts or consumables (e.g., sensors, cables, filters)


8. Warranty Service

Most Lab Freezer Co. products are backed by a limited manufacturer warranty covering parts and labor for a defined period. Warranty service differs by model and brand. For warranty claims, contact support@labfreezerco.com with your unit’s serial number.
